The Village of Frankfort, Frankfort Area Jaycees, and Frankfort Lions Club are pleased to announce the return of the popular 12^th Annual Amateur Rib Cook-Off on Saturday, July 31, 2021.

Do you have what it takes to smoke the competition? We want you! This friendly competition is open to amateur chefs and backyard barbecuers. Teams compete for 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, and Crowd Pleaser awards. Each team must prepare and cook fifteen slabs of baby back ribs on site. Ribs are provided morning of event. Set up begins at 6:00 AM.  Judging begins promptly at Noon. Public tasting begins at 12:30 PM.  The fee to enter the competition is $100.00 and includes the price of the meat.
